pupusas
went back home for a week a little bit ago. these pictures don't do justice, but i had an incredible time. el salvador is still my favorite place to be. colombia, peru, brazil, and miami are all good but my heart is at home.
these are ancient mayan ruins which you're not even allowed to touch

Re: pupusas
thanks b. they have a picture of my reaction when the guard came running but its all like OH SHIT FUCK IMA DIE. yeah, she's my favorite person. when my father died, she went with me to where they killed him and she instinctively knew i was hurt even though i put up a barrier. she's helped me through a lot and doesn't even know it, im really blessed to have a loving family.

Re: pupusas
You're father was killed? wtf for dude? I'm sorry bro. That shit sucks. And when I saw the picture of the ruins, I was thinking 'please tell me he touched them.' And surely enough the next picture, your playing on them like a jungle gym lol.

i don't really care to get into the details of his murder. i've already talked about it enough in my poetry.
and yeah, i've posted pictures of el salvador before but this time i went a lot more places and really got to look at the history, art, and people of my parent's country a bit more.
also yeah that horse does look small now that you mention it. and nahhh, im only 5'9''.

Re: pupusas
I love the title, bro.
These crackers don't even know what the fuck a pupusa is.
Nice pics. Damn, I haven't been back since I was 7-8. It sucks because that's the last time I seen my grandparents (father's side)
What part of El Salvador are you from? We're from La Union.
I need to definitely go back.
You looks like a legit person too. /NoHomosaurus

Re: pupusas
Beautiful!
I'm jealous once again :(
I was just thinking the other day how it's almost been 3 years since I went. I miss mi tierra linda. I'm making it a priority to go this year. I wasn't able to visit the ruins when I went, but i'm going this time around!
I remember my cousin honking his horn to let others know he's about to cross a 4 way street. no lights...no stops. It was crazy. lol. I miss yuca con chicharron, pupusas, dulce de leche, jocotes, mangos, cocos, and all the delicious food! ayyyyy. i miss all the fresh jugos, the ones you get in little sandwich bags with a straw...los panes con pavo. okokok...ya no. lol.
