This may be a stupid question but what makes it so that your constants aren't as present because i used a spit screen and everything but it always seems my S's are to heavy....so i turn down the high on my mixer...or the mid?...or the low?....should i not add reverb?.....should i just cock my head slightly away from the mic?........(MXL 990 condenser) any help would be appreciate thanxx......

put pop filter 3-4 inches away from mic....put mouth 6-7 inches from mic....spit.

Don't spit straight into the mic... when you spit angle it off of the direction your projecting your voice slightly.... It'll helps with S's and Pops.
