I stand watching the clock, I’m a checkout operator
Standing with a line of people, watching my behaviour
Watching the clock and praying to my savoir,
Please clock strike 4pm, got my girl waiting for me to take her
To the other shops, for the two of us to get her Christmas shopping
But I’m still serving customers and huge crowds just keep on coming
"My god, what’s going on do people think it the end of the world?”
All out in town, in full force still buying presents for little boys and girls.
I’m still serving and the cue is getting bigger, I’m going to lose my nerve
People pushing and people rushing with little or no respect for us at work
I want to go berserk; the guy I’m serving is being disrespectful -
Sooner or later I’m going to go mad and say something classed as hurtful.
But why should I care, if he doesn’t care, about what he say’s to me
By this time the cue is insane, and towards this guy, I can’t find words to speak.
I stand watching the clock; it’s not turning around fast enough –
These Wal-Mart shoppers are killers – but they stand there waiting to feel loved
I’m working, selling my soul for minimum wage, it’s pathetic
I’m missing out on my relationship, in a few years I’ll look at this and regret it
So as my cue reaches its max I can’t even bare to appear relaxed
Fuck Wal-Mart,
I throw my badge and walk out of the shop – I’m not looking back.
I meet my girl outside the back, now feeling free and relaxed,
This chapter of my life is over, and away we skip - holding hands.

OK stock lets get ur flaws out the way first over the first couple of lines i dont like the flow on this piece on well in the beginning lines they seemed kinda rushed in a way when i read them. Now the positive end to it you had a very nice imagery describing how alot of things were in your lil sector where you work very nice way u took this topic mann i liked that u had a uppity boredom i dont want to be here type emotion on this piece explaining how i feel at work when im there or even when i go to walmart with my fiance an she's taking for ever picking up new candles for the room and lil shit like that. Buy u stayed on it describing how wal mart really is this time a year no room is respectful at all jsut worried about what there needs are.

overall a nice lil read fam u did your thing just didn't like the follow but pretty well explained
