He definitely doesn't have a deep throw, but he's decent. More like a Vick type player.

a very interesting stat that I hadn't noticed until now
if Brett Favre isn't INT'd 6 times today...he will finish this season with the lowest INTs he's ever had in a season as a starter...as a matter of fact, if he's not INT'd more than twice he'll finish the season with just single digit INTs...which is something he has never done in his career....and if he throws a TD...it'll be his 9th 30 TD season of his career...and his first of which since 2004...
to put that in perspective...
Dan Marino only had 4 30+ TD seasons in his career
Fran Tarkenton never had a 30+ TD season in his career (and he was 3rd alltime, till Peyton passed him this season)
Tom Brady has only had 1
Peyton Manning has had 5
Steve Young had 2
Joe Montana only had 1
and here's a shocker...John Elway never had a 30 TD season, and neither did Aikman
and Kurt Warner has had 3...considering how up and down his career has been I think that's great
the only person that will come near Favre's plateau is Peyton...if Warner didn't have such a shitty inconsistent career he'd most likely have at least 6 or 7 30+ TD seasons under his belt...

another random thing I got interested in looking up...Barry Sanders vs. Emmitt Smith, I saw being discussed in another thread a few days ago
alot of people say Barry is better because had he of stuck around he'd of smashed Emmitt's alltime rushing record...alot of people say Emmitt is better because he owns the alltime record for yards in a career....
so...what I did was I took in Emmitt's career (15 seasons)...and I took Barry's career (10 seasons) and did some math....factoring in what would have happened HAD Barry Sanders played 15 seasons, like Emmitt...but....I also factored in based on season averages how that player would've done had he not have missed any games in his entire career based on the pace he was on for a season that he may have missed a game (still following me?)...with that said
if Emmitt Smith played his entire career without missing a game: 19,201 yards
if Barry Sanders had of went 15 full seasons without missing a game: 23,966 yards
Barry's better

did you factor in the drop off Sanders would have gone through
but I do agree Barry is better.
