Lol... tards. The power rankings are based more on wins/losses than anything. If you win, you move up. How well you did when you won/who you beat also factors into it... if you lost, you move down. It's not necessarily built on who's the best writer either.. if the greatest writer in the league has an off week and loses to the lowest ranked member -- that doesn't mean he's now the worst writer in the league.. he moves down the ranks significantly.. but that doesn't mean he sucks. He could bounce back to number one the following week...
It's like the Pac-10 football rankings.. you're being judged on your current drops, wins, losses, effort, etc.. If the worst team in the Pac-10 defeats the number one ranked team.. normally you'd see that team get moved down to number 10 or lower all due to that loss because of WHO it was that beat them...
Your overall talent as a writer/accumulated record and reputation over the years really has nothing to do with your rank at all. People may "belong on top" that aren't (and I fully agree with that) but facts are, that they sure as fuck haven't proven it this season...
