Anyway, it's hard for me to go back and listen to old school rap. A lot of the lyrics are so simple and I get bored. Guess it goes to show just how much music has evolved and how lyrics have become more complex.

Lol. I wasn't referring to mainstream artists bruh. Actual guys who rap and are lyrical. The stuff that a Kendrick, Lupe, Immortal Technique, etc. come up with today was almost unheard of back then. A lot of simple rhyme patterns. Kind of like if you watch a rap battle from 10 years ago, the shit is wack as fuck compared to battles today.
