My dialect to disect the section
and make your best mc put representing out the question
In the art of war the pen is my weapon
fighting for my right to write at my discretion
Cus I find it more convenient to go against convention
than to change who I am just to make a good impression
walk through life with no sense of direction
was lost until I found myself through expression

yet to see the payoff from the time I’ve invested
so im still underground like backyard wrestling
caught in this world wide web of deception
with more prisons being built of the guys of correction
is everything real or just your perception
put your mind to it and make the connection
im just another MC with my own intentions
in the place to be 905 representing

to stop all the nonsense and carry on tradition

I rhyme ahead of the game like prediction
sick with the flow and been showing symptoms
sikc of the way we are controlled by the system
its time to stand up and show some resistance
training my thoughts so I can go the whole distance
and rock to the rhytm with no intermission
bring it back like relapse ahha stickumm
keep my style free cus I don’t like restrictions
the sure shock cus im known to rock with conviction
in a rap race trying to jockey for position
keep yoursfirst is the way that we are living
this is blowing up now I spit words of wisdom
for bset results work hard instead of wishing
we get it started like keys to ignition

i liked this rhyme. tho you coulda elaborated a little more about putn ya best foot forward, the scheme was nice and your vocab useage is good. give it a couple months and you'll have a peice in the Open Mic HoF...

killahj i think you needed more of a story into your piece... it was really good flowwise (although it could have used more syllable rhymes) you got some real potential if that's one of the first pieces you've ever written... i think if you think of a topic to talk about, if the best foot forward was what you were going for, then you should have elaborated on that idea... i think you put your flow down very nicely on the page the structure was very nice and i think you have a good idea of your style... one thing i related to about this piece is KillahJ is my boy's tag back in the town i used to live in... and i thought you had a very similar style to him so i liked that about this piece especially, maybe that's why i thought it was so good when i first saw it... anyways dope ideas and my only advice can by to try and get your story right when you write your piece... lol alright as always peace out..
