Suggestions?

Since you guys are the ones controlling the traffic and know what you like and keeps you active, I want to hear from you! Whether it's a suggestion on how to improve the forum or a topic that you think would be good fodder for a cypher, this is the place to drop and discuss it. I won't be doing a three-word cypher...or anything similar (one-word, two-word, etc.).
I suppose it could be fun but I tend to see those sort of threads largely as a means of upping post counts with little creativity involved. As a minimum, I'd say we need to be talking at least a line...maybe something like a set-up and punch cypher. For example, the first person posts a set-up and the following one posts the punch and then also leaves a set-up for the next person and so on and so forth.

What's the premise of a "make 'em laugh" cypher? I need explanations or details when you guys pitch ideas.

I'm not real active in this section of the forum, but i do stop in from time to time.

I seen that the topical/freestyle threads aren't active, most is diss the bitch above you n metaphor cypher.

1-line cypher just thought id throw that out there

That set up and punch cypher sounds good.
The make 'em laugh cypher would be someone posting a ridiculous topic and the other will have to make a couple lines(min=10?) about it. People can work on imagery and adding humor.

I think it would be interesting to have a real life style cypher. For example. Have mods put a track up weekly, monthly ect.
Then the first person to go would start at the beginning of the track until they finish their verse. The next person to go would pick up where the first person left off. Each time someone goes it is added to a track. along with times of start and end.
The idea of the cypher is to introduce your self and talk about current events, rather then battle, for example

This could be done in both text and audio.

Another thought for audio is to get a teamspeak server tied into the forum, you can do this with code then people would just download the client and battle on a channels you set up. You could set channels up so that only the two people battling can enter the channel. Others could listen but not talk.
