We're down to 6 competitors & @MV is unlikely to be judging due to unforeseen circumstances so it's looking like the best thing to do might be to Old Yeller the remainder of the league fixtures and go for playoffs.

I reckon it'd work best if we have the top 2 ranked (based on wins against opponents who were active at the time) as automatic semi finalists, with the remaining 4 battling to achieve semis then we'll naturally progress to the climax with one winner standing erect coming above everyone else. There's stiff enough competition that we don't need to make it harder with themed rounds for this. It feels a bit like a dictator situation if I'm the only main judge so if any of you feel like you might get shafted we can do a poll instead. Pause - my bad just realised "for playoffs" was a bit fruity.

@Virb cheers mate. Being a dictator is great but I think everyone left in the comp is trustworthy enough not to vote for whoever is going to be an easier battle in the next round, which is the only reason we did the voting the way we did anyway, so we'll do regular voting for the playoffs.

@Jack Hallows lol yeah that was pretty accurate. I think we get this tourney wrapped up then if everyone's interested I like the idea of a swingers-style weekly-alternating-partner 2v2 league or whatever other suggestions people have. Either way we'll still be keepin it moving.

Yo, what's this shit about 6 ppl in the playoff's? No room for a 7th? I feel quite bad about signing out, and also about the forum being in low waters in general atm (even though I'm a newbie). I would love this shit to be thriving and jiving, so I could just dip my toes in the awesomeness. But with my past involvement and my love for the clientel (pause) I feel somewhat responsible for any decline in the traffic..... I might be shitfaced off IPA's and negroni's atm (btw, if you run out of sweet vermouth, I highly recommed Lillet Blanc), but at the current moment I feel like I would like to be considered for the upcoming battles. But at the same time, I'm pretty busy with other things.... I just don't wan't to leave you guys hanging.. Alternatively, I could be the extra judge, as Virb suggested to be, if needed. A close friend of mine once described me as "extremely objective", so what more would you need?

Anyway, if there's a shortage on battlers, then hit me up, and otherwise I'm still checking in once in a while. Regarding the mixtape and collab stuff, I don't really have the same equipment that I had before (mainly Ominsphere and Keyscape, which are huge, though), but I'm down to do some audio stuff, depending on deadlines, because as Bag said, it should all be for the creative surplus that we all have, and shouldn't feel like a chore. But just so you guys know (not that you care, but for the few that may), I'm still here, trying to work up the spirit to write shit you've never heard about your moms. So stay tuned.
